New Life Fellowship Doha (NLFD) church is a community of multinational and multicultural people, who have encountered the saving grace of Jesus. Together we seek to explore what it means to follow Jesus and help others do the same. It is our passion to see people saved, healed, set free discipled, equipped, empowered and serving. NLF meets as a community for relevant teaching, heartfelt worship, honest friendships, constant prayer, and compassionate care for those in need. Our doors are wide open to people from all nations, regardless of where you are on your spiritual journey. We believe you would feel right at home and become part of the New Life Fellowship Church, Doha Qatar.

Origin of New Life Fellowship, Doha.

In 1983, when the Lord called Pastor V M Samuel (Pastor Sam) to reach out to one of the most unreached states in India – Karnataka, late Pastor Sam and his wife, Sis.Somey were uncertain. Yet they yielded to God’s call & came to Mangalore, Karnataka in 1983. The Lord laid a burden in their hearts to reach out primarily to the Kannadigas & Konkanis, along with other linguistic communities. Gradually, the Lord expanded their vision and ministry and together they have been able to establish more than 120+ churches across South India, the Middle East and across the globe. In 2010-11 as Pastor Sam was praying, the Lord brought Doha to his mind and God brought together 5 families. The Lord miraculously provided a place of worship at the Anglican Centre. After a lot of persistence from Ps Sam, Ps Moansy Thomas, Bro Aldrin Menezes & Bro Varadraj. New Life Fellowship began its first worship service in Doha on 8th February 2013.

NLF Doha is registered under Evangelical Churches Alliance Qatar (ECAQ) a registered entity to conduct religious activities under the Govt of Qatar.

Evangelical Churches Alliance Qatar (ECAQ) is a united network of multi-national expatriate communities of evangelical churches in the State of Qatar, called to live and proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They are a ministry of many tounges and tribes, a diaspora of Christian believers with purposeful work-based migration for the glory of God.

Formed in 2005, it started from the desire of a small group of Filipino churches to gather in one place to pray, worship and fellowship. This desire was transformed into a growing and fervent prayer to have a common house for believers.

Today, ECAQ is one of the recognized religious organizations in Qatar, accorded with an opportunity to build a church and freedom to worship, within the parameters and respect to the host country. With 93 member-congregations, majority of which are Filipinos, it has Africans, Indians and Nepalese  churches, with a combined estimate of over 7,000 individual believers of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Ps Ranjith is the local Pastor in charge, of New life fellowship Doha. He is currently based in Doha, and he takes care of its daily activities. He has a passion to reach out to the lost and loves to teach Gods word. Sister Anju, his wife serves along with Pastor, teaching Gods word at the women’s fellowship and weekly Home group. They have three lovely daughters, Michelle, Mabel & Juana who are all pursuing their higher studies.

A Leadership council assists Pastor and Anju in the work of the ministry. They include Brother Aldrin, Brother Santhosh & Brother Justin. They are also supported by a team of ministry members namely Ps. Lawrence, Kyzil, Monisha, Benjamin, Godwin, Surekha, Jerri, Deo, Alice, Anna, Bob, Roy, Christopher, Ngoni, Silas and Rodgers. To-date, NLFD with the ongoing support of NLF India has grown to about 100 members with various ministries such as Home groups, Bible Study, Ladies’ Fellowship, Youth Ministry and Kids Church that are well established.
